Adidas, started in the early 1920s by a man named Adolf Dassler (in his mother's basement, no less) is an enormous German based multinational sportswear conglomerate. Although it is a popular urban myth that the name is an acronym for All Day I Dream About Sports, that phrase is formed from "Adi" (a nickname
